Another option is to give a gift card to an office supply store so the teacher can buy exactly what she needs.

  • Treat the teacher to a snack with a gift basket of yummy treats. You can buy pre-made baskets or create your own by choosing an assortment of different foods, but try to choose one with a mix of healthy and sweet options. A variety of treats come in handy on days when the teacher can’t manage to get out of the classroom.

  • Surprise the teacher with flowers in shades of fall or school colors if available. A fresh bouquet gives her something pretty to look at on the first day and take home to enjoy.
